Life Skills is a program that seeks to share the love of Christ with women in the church and neighbourhood through the learning of important practical skills as a community.

The Junior Catechism program provides an opportunity for youth from grades 7-10 to study the Bible and explore the three confessions that sum up what our church teaches. The desire is for youth to mature in their faith and when ready, to join Streetlight as full members. Occasionally we have outings that give us a chance to have fun as friends.

Karen Youth Bible Study is a program for Karen youth, a group of young newcomers to Canada. The purpose of the program is to provide Karen teens with a deeper knowledge of the Bible and of the Christian faith. The group also takes part in various fun events throughout the year.
Aug 24 @ 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm
Day Light Women’s Bible study provides a safe and welcoming atmosphere where women can come together and study God’s Word. The program is designed for women to explore and put into practice what the Bible teaches about being a woman of God. After our Bible study, we have coffee and snacks, and time to build relationships and encourage each other.
Aug 25 @ 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Every week, youth (ages 12+) at Streetlight get together. We alternate between having a dinner and Bible study one week, and having an event evening the next week. With input from our youth, we explore our city and go on adventures such as hikes, visiting art shows, skating at the Bay, bowling, etc. To learn more, please email youth@streetlightministries.ca

Cadets is a program in which we seek to teach the truths of the Bible in concrete ways that apply directly to the lives of boys ages 9-14. The evening starts with a Bible study and discussion, after which time is spent working on projects, playing games, and building relationships with the youth.

At Adult Bible study, we spend the first half hour singing, after which we break into small groups to study the Bible. Leaders facilitate conversation through a different chapter of the Bible each week. Afterwards we have time for coffee and fellowship. This Bible study runs year round; during the summer months meetings are held every other week.
